Just subscribed to t your thread, interested in seeing the Whipple install and results. Thanks for your service, I did four years in the Army and spent all my time in Alaska except for training, wish I had stayed in and traveled on Uncle's dime some more. We flew in the Chinooks a lot back then but did have a couple of instances where it was so cold they were grounded because of fuel concerns.

Sorry for the late reply, just saw your comment. Thank you for your support, and thank you for your service as well. Seeing that you flew in chinooks a lot, I'm assuming infantry? I just work on them on the ground rn, but I hope to get on a flight crew once I get back to the states, got screwed out of it here.

For everyone wondering, I just got word that I'll be heading back to the states this Saturday! So expect some actual substantial posts in the next week.

I also ended up ordering some EBC front brake pads, ac delco rear shoes, rear drum rebuild kit, new brake lines, nbs master cylinder, a dashskin full dash cover, metra 2-din bezzle, 2 new rear pillar 4x6 fosgate speakers, and the newsest flaghip pioneer 2 din head unit.

I'm going to take this opportunity to start my interior conversion by painting the dash black with SEM color coat,

No engine work done yet. I'm still waiting on the afr heads to come in.

So far I've fixed up the dash, installed the new radio and backup camera. My sister is painting all the vents tonight. The new brake hoses did nothing to fix my spongy brakes. I have a nbs master cylinder, just need the adapter. Also put in some led headlights.

Transmission came in today, gonna install it this weekend. Hopefully the heads come in this week so I can do the engine work. If they don't then it'll have to wait till I get to Washington.

New 340 lph aem fuel pump installed and the 48lb injectors. Maf is tuned up good. I won't be touching the ve table until the supercharger is on.

Headers and exhaust are going in tomorrow. And the dashskin is getting glued down

So is that a skin over the dash or did you paint it? I’m currently waning to change all my interior to black too in the future.
