It was not hard. I cut the bracket that holes it down. Those Tahoes (2002-2006) the bracket that the console is mounted to, bolts under the inner seat bolts. So you have to pull the seats to install the console. I just cut the bracket and did away with that. Where my 60-40 drivers seat bolted on the inner side, that was in the trans hump. So I used those bolts to bolt down the console bracket. I did have to make an extension bracket for the front hold down, and I only used the 2 forward bolts of the console. No big deal for me, I am a welder. I just finished making the next section where I will put a Chevelle horseshoe shifter, but the shifter will be a while before I install it. I also have some trim work left to get the 2 consoles to fit together better. The last pic, is the type of shifter I will use.

I apologize if this has been mentioned before, but i have an idea!
1) If you want an updated console, I'd recommend looking at a ~'05-'10ish F150/Super Duty console, not the full length one. I put one in my '98 K3500 and it looks really good in there! With it, you get 4 extra cup holders (that are 1000x better than the stock dash ones), a huge console storage compartment, a front map pocket, and a 12v rear outlet. I was able to full time hotwire the 12v outlet to the battery with a 30 amp inline fuse. The grey fits the truck REALLY well, and it wasnt too bad priced. The squareness of the console really fits the truck better than any other console I could have picked. Plus, the console lid is perfect arm rest height for me. I paid like $75 on LKQ and came directly out of an '05 F150 XLT. A pick a part might be cheaper.

I don't, but I can probably get more! My truck is currently back home in Texas and I'm in Colorado, but my dad might be able to snap a few pics. What are you looking for?

I guess just a couple of the finished install. How close it is to the floor shifter, etc...
