I know it's unbelievable but here in Italy American pick-up are not considered a working trucks but are a big toys for big boys and also for the expensive cost of diesel fuel and low MPG of these trucks , pick-up owners don't drive them every day but specially in the weekend . I was lucky to find it with a so low mileage

I'm from Canada so you find a pretty good mix of these trucks between work and play. I'm building mine up as a daily driver that's off-road and work capable. Also really hard to find them up here with minimal rust. 0 rust simply doesn't exist

From the VIN number I discovered that my truck was made in Canada . I repainted all the frame with an anti-rust paint and it works , also in winter is protected by salt put on mountain roads against ice. The pics of interiors show that is in good conditions and it is 30 years old

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking truck. I have a 94 K1500 and love driving it, although I only put about 5,000 miles a year on it due to my close proximity to work.

*****, per le gomme ti ho risposto in privato. Così non annoiamo gli Americani con le nostre stupide ed assurde leggi Italiane....anche perchè potrebbero ridere di noi mi sa.

*****, for the tyres i answered to you on pm. So we don't bore the Americans with our stupid and absurd Italian laws....also because i think they could laught at us.

Hotwheelsburban , really? I thought that almost nobody cares to learn Italian...
I like learning things! Its interesting to see how similar Italian is to Spanish, and also the differences. My dad's family came to the US around the time of the Revolution (late 1700s) from around Genoa. They were actually French Huguenots (Protestants) but settled in northern Italy for a few generations.
To me it's also very interesting and neat to see all the various countries that our all American Chevy and GMC trucks have been imported to. There's members on this forum from all over Europe, including Russia, and several from Australia and New Zealand. And all over Canada, Mexico, South America and all 50 states. I've learned a lot about our trucks on here, and have had many great conversations!

Chevy Silverado 6.2 diesel Z71

Congratulations brother!

Your truck looks very nice! That photo of your truck with all of the Dodge trucks in the background is priceless. I suppose Dodge/Fiat are common in your area?

Even in the States (at least here in Texas) the GMT400 diesels don't seem to be too common, especially in the 1500 series. See a few for sale in the 2500/3500 series though.
