15x10 wheels backspacing for lowered truck?

Hey what backspacing can you run on 15x10 with a 4/6 drop for an example?any pics?

I’m also curious, don’t want to assume and order something that doesn’t fit. And I don’t really understand what to measure to find out.

10" needs 6.75 backspace or they are stick outsies!

6.75" may be a little extreme for a 10" wheel; IIRC the Boss 338's I got a few years back were 20x10 with 6.25" backspace. They fit great on my '94 C2500LD (redrilled for 5 lug); it's been too long though since I've paid attention to whether the 9.5" 14 bolt SF is any narrower than your typical 8.5" 10 bolt.

I may have made another post or two in the past incorrectly referring to that 20x10 as having a 6" backspace; it's been tough to look up those wheels anymore to see what was available. The front wheel was a 20x8.5 with 5.4" and a 255/45/20 tire.

wow. I wanted to get 295/45/18s, thought they might be the size I was looking for, but even with a 20" rim they look small. I don't want to go with anymore than a 2/4 drop, would look stupid with an 18".

Uh.. OK

Not too used to tire sizing are we? 295/45/20 and 295/45/18 are very much not the same size tire. 295/45/20 is a 30.5" tire, 295/45/18 is a 28.5" tire.

And yeah, I wouldn't run either with only a 2/4 drop.

As you can see in a 20 on a 4/6 they are just behind the fender lip in the rear; I did flatten the lip just in case.

I know tire sizes, but not when it comes to 18 and 20" rims for a lowered truck lol. My point was that ur size looks small, so with the size I wanted it would be even smaller. I want to stay around 29" tall, but slightly lowered. I plan on making a nice 406 with the Ramjet intake and eventually a turbo. So want a big tire out back. Plus I like the old school look of fat tires out back and lil skinnier up front. But anymore with the current tire trend it's proving tough.
