Behind the bumper Hitch

I tried to find a hitch that advertised it would work behind the bumper , but all of them just said roll pan. I just choose the one i thought would work and it does. Curt pn# 13942. I thought maybe some other people were looking to do this as well. Requires a longer insert but works well.

While that looks nice and clean, it would be a pain to deal with the hitch pin and safety chains. Many people would not like that, which would explain why its difficult to find the part.
During safety check, you would verify the safety pin is holding the hitch pin in place. Doesn't look like that's visually possible with that hitch. Same with checking the safety chains. Both would require the owner to reach under the bumper and feel around.
But it looks nice

I dont tow with it often but I want the option if my suburban is tied up. And I dont mind the 2 seconds more of safety check. I like the clean with options look.
