Got both taken off ; interior tho ( maybe bc i bought a cheap set) the lock doesnt fully go up or down. But the handle works.

So the outside handle... the rod connecting to the key barrel. Came completely off From wherever thevhell it connects to inside the assembly ... when i popped it off. I have no idea if the rod is bent or which way it goes now. Replaced bc handle was cracking and i wanted to do the single key swap for door and ignition. How does the key barrel stay attached to the other linkage that goes to rod for lock status? The door also doesnt open from outside & far as i can tel from videos i did it right.

Got them changed. Had to do some small tweaking but its nice to just have one key now and not have cracked handles / roll down window to open the door

Now to tackle steering wheel!!

Color me stupid..... Why not just take the door cylinders to a local locksmith and have them repined to match the Ignition key?

ignition cylinder was shot. Didnt need a key half the time & when u did; the key came rite out after cranking.. sometimes it took everything to turn the key to crank...

No way rekeying by a locksmith would be cheaper than buying the 50$ kit.. The exterior handles were gone as well so i had to take the door cylinders out anyway
