That looks like the front strap that wraps all the way around the tank

I think your setup is different because it's a step side. I don't have any kind of bracket that attaches tot he frame rail. Did you buy the straps together? I wonder if you got two front straps. When looking them up, I often see "front of the axle" as part of the description, which is referring to the tank, not the front strap.

wish I could remember but the straps have been sitting around in the garage for 2 years waiting to be installed. I'll take a picture of the bracket with pre attached strap that goes toward the front of the tank. That fit great!

I ordered #8 and it came with a strap pre attached. Im thinking that I also ordered #7 which might only be a replacement strap for part #8 instead of being for the rear strap. But even so they don't show a strap on lmc for the back side of the tank. Still looking for that rear strap. Would like to get that buttoned up today. But we will see

I would agree that the #7 that you have is a replacement for the front, but without the bracket.

Just order the rear strap from Rockauto. It'll look more like the other #7 in the picture..... I'd be leery to order the #7 from LMC in case it's the more common style of front strap, like what I have. You'll also need the bolt and clip nut for the rear.... Dorman has them.

Happened to be digging around in the garage and found the other strap that comes with the kit. That was the fix. She is all hung up now.

I believe the first strap was the replacement for the figure #8. makes sense considering there were 2 holes to fasten to the arm.

That's weird.... they list a strap for a 26 gallon in a long box. I didn't think any long boxes came with the small tank.
