6.5L Diesel. Running status unknown.

Mileage unknown

Auto trans is supposedly trash.

Looks very clean inside and out.

Obviously lift and tires present.

Looks like an RC kit and maybe a body lift?

Depends on your area. Around me, $7500 tops. But down south where rust isn't an issue, probably a lot less.

Best bet is to search local listings and get a feel for your area.

I second what Daly said. If you do go to look at the truck, really scrutinize the front on that thing. I can't tell you how many times lifted trucks like this come into my dad's shop with the front ends about to fall out from in under them. He completely rebuilds the front ends and 6 months later, they are back in the shop. These lifted trucks seem like chew up ball joints.

Maybe I should have asked...

"What would you pay"

Outside of purchasing best practices, what is the subjective value of the truck?

I'm not a 6.5td fan so my opinion of what it's worth is far less than many others. However, personal bias aside, consider that a lot more than transmission problems can be lurking on a truck that you can't fully test-drive. Just the trans rebuild alone is gonna set you back $2K minimum for a good 4L80E build. Then what else will you find wrong with it once it's driveable?

Right now I would offer a thousand bucks for it. Price is only gonna go down more as people geeked financially. So wait. The truck isn’t going anywhere literally and figuratively. And as for the trans plenty of shops right now will be starving for work in the next few weeks. Not to mention absolutely cadaverous thin in a few months. I would call around for prices. You an also go the rebuilt online route and DIY.
Im watching the stock market basically implode. Anyone buying anything other than basics is a complete fool. You’ll be getting that truck for a few hundred bucks in less than two months.

I wouldn't offer but $1000-$1500. Popped hood in for sale pictures is a huge turn off for me.

Good input! I would say with how clean it is, no rust, and the rarer TD this is a 6-8k truck built.

That too off base?

Way off base. It may be worth that if it’s a complete running truck. In clean shape.

just wait. The economy is basically crapping the bed right now. In two months that guy will take $150 for it
