I love my tow mirrors. It's a must have with big wide tires and a lift. I couldn't see **** with the stock mirrors. Yours looks pretty sharp with the stock ones though. Mine where the old chrome style little ones. Nice truck!

It’s like my step side twin hahaha. Without the lift

No write up lol
I had read that you can throw them in the oven and pop the lens off...do what you want to them.
Sooo I decided to try, it was harder than I thought. Took a lot of persuasion and patients. I thought several times I was going to break the light. After a few times in the oven, I think 220-250 degrees I finally got them off.
I ended up putting some square fog lights from Amazon that have the square led changeable colors around it. Once I did that and cleaned them up I bought head light sealer, sealed them up... that was harder than expected too. I ended up using apoxy and clamps to squeeze it tight while the apoxy dried.
It worked!
The leds going around it are off amazon too. 24in light strip. My first set got water in it...fml so I ended up taking another chance and buying another set that says it's IP67 waterproof...whatever that is. Went with it. So far so good. It's still chinese...
Both are hooked up to different switchs. The fog light one has a remote that came with it also an Bluetooth app to get (more than 16million colors 200 chasing modes yada yada yada) remote with 10 colors works fine for me lol.
Oh yeah the fogs are 4" and go where the high beams are. I think it's neat because I can match the square led with the marker lights and it sets it off.
There's so many options of lights I can do now.
Here's some pics, they are so bright it's hard to get a good pic.
Lots of time and patients.
There's a guy on YouTube that did the same thing with his gmt400. I don't have the link but look up on YouTube 88-98 chevy headlight mods
Take your time if you do it!

Pretty sick. So you out the led strip around the grill. I love it!!! Now it’s time to order a new set. Lol I have led converted the entire front end. The turn signals are white leds then switch over to amber for turns. Now time to build my headlights lol. Also a guy sent me a set of u bars for my tails but idk what I wanna do yet I might disassemble both and put the smoked on the u bars

I used VHT night shades on my tails. Turned out nice. Look like yours. I don't like the euro style tail lights or the led future looking tailights. I like the stock just like what you got. Looks good!

Wendy the farm kitty was doing the last final look over she seems to think she's boss around this farm cause she kills all the mice and bird's. Anyway this is what my goal is for my mirrors but my truck is completely get redone after seading May/June w full paint job rims tires and bunch of other stuff the rims I picked out will suite these mirrors well. I like tow mirrors as long as they suite the truck. Your truck is a regular cab short box I'd paint match your OEM original ones aswell as the door handles and call it a day. In my opinion tow mirrors suit 4wd trucks mainly just not regularl cab short boxes now they can look good on regular cab short boxes but they need that certain lift rims and tires to pull it off. There's a idiot kid running around here with a V6 regular cab short sho rusty dodge 1500 with spair tire rims and tow mirrors flipped up I feel embarrassed for the kid. But on a dually crew cab Long box dodge tow mirrors look good. So like I say it's tow mirrors will either make or break your truck in my opinion no regular cab Short box should ever have tow mirrors.

Where did you get the tow mirrors? Do you have the part number? They look good on your truck.

I got them off eBay give me a bit and I'll get a link. I don't have these mirrors on my 98 yet I've bin keeping my truck looking ****** and keep buying prepping parts and then one day ill take it I to be shop all ****** looking as it sits and come out looking nice all redone the hardest thing about my build is buying all these parts and storing them away until she gets redone in May ish. But I'll get a eBay link they were cheap and seam quality built I really like them.
