Found a nice set of brackets for $50 online for a 10/14 bolt conversion that uses gm metric single piston calipers. Through work, calipers and pads are $65. I was under the impression that u used stock front rotors in back but cannot find any info on that. I can get rotors for $40 per pair also. So about $170 whole setup ( $20 hoses) is only about $20 more than complete rear drum setup to replace. Anyone have any Info on what rotors I should be looking for? Calipers are basically off a 95 Blazer and they use a thick rotor like our front ones.

Usually conversion brackets use Squarebody stuff.... not sure why with so much newer hardware out there now. I wish someone would make brackets for GMT-800 rotors and calipers.

Where are the brackets you're looking at from?

I know it's cheap, can't get ahold of seller for any info either..atleast I know which calipers and we have everything in stock here so I can just grab and check things till I find correct stuff and not spend a small fortune ordering ****.

Doesn't look promising...
No fitment specs, no measurements, etc. I'd stay away from these IMO.

There's fairly identical looking bracket kits out there for the 10/12 bolt CAR axles, which have a different bolt pattern on the axle flange. I've already checked, since I took measurements off of my Camaro's 10 bolt that has rear disks.

Honestly, unless they provide fitment/measurements then it's just a gamble.

Also IMO, while the Little Shop MFG kit is a little bit on the overpriced side it's also the only thing out there that can be verified as "correct"

If you look through some of the threads about that particular kit for the 10 bolts, you'll find a link for their bracket only kit(which isn't actually listed on their site when you search the store, but is a good link.)

I plan on going this route when I'm ready to pull the trigger.

Another thing, I get wholesale from the parts stores through my work also. Don't waste your time with them, after doing a little research on all the parts needed, Rockauto beats the parts stores by a good margin including ground shipping.

I'm also planning on going the route of retaining my e-brake function.
If you're six lug then here is your parts brake down.

Brackets- Little Shop
Calipers/pads w/ ebrake - 1979 Cadi Eldorado rear calipers and pads
Calipers/pads w/o ebrake - 1990 K1500 single cab only front
Rotors - 1990 K1500 single cab only
brake hoses - 1992 S10 front brake hoses (2wd I believe, not 100% certain on that one)

For 5 lug, they are specially drilled rotors from like a 90's impala or something similar.

When I was doing my initial research with using the brackets from Little Shop and everything else from Rockauto, IIRC I came out slightly cheaper than the cheapest complete version of the kit that they offer. If I'm not remembering correctly, I know for sure it came out way cheaper than for their upgraded kit that keeps the rear e brake. (a $150 increase for calipers that cost $0 more than the non ebrake calipers)

Gonna read and dig some, thanks for the info...and rock auto can't come close to our prices ( we spend roughly 250k yearly with our supplier US Autoforce) and we actually stock most things so I can go grab as I need and test fit, but ultimately if the bracket isn't correct then nothing is going to work right. Will do more digging and see what I can come up with to see if these brackets fit our trucks and/or another does.

I think that's car stuff.... I'm not sure what a metric caliper is, but a friend used that term for the calipers he put on his 9" Ford on his Malibu.

Yeah those are car brackets, been digging around LOTS of reading. For Camaros and cars with 10 bolt. Looking again for a bracket that will work . And a metric caliper was used on ALOT of gm cars over the years . Very cheap and reliable caliper , looks like the truck brackets have an offset back to compensate for the hay of the rotor I guess. Going to cross the numbers from 885speeds reply . Seems he has done more digging than me and has a good parts list already.

Was a car bracket now I can't find just the bracket from little shops site. Found some other brackets but kind of pricey. Sure wish I still had access to my buddies fab shop, would cut a bracket out on the CNC table in a few minutes and make whatever caliper I wanted work on it. Now I gotta buy premade stuff

It's in another thread I started but since I have it book marked https://www.littleshopmfg.com/brackets-hardware-only-ck1500-dbc-for-10-drum-axles/

I would be very interested in seeing what you find for rotors. That was the original question I asked in the other thread but it evolved into something different without ever figuring it out.
