First truck post of the new year. Installed an updated tail light harness from Southwest Performance Parts. It's a nice piece! The old one was used up.

What are the benefits of doing this? Just having new wiring?

Got it. Anyway to point me to where I can order the GM parts? My other option is Street Scene but those mirrors are a little too small.
I have a set of oem ones power and a year old. Got them from my job I work for a Chevy dealership

I’ve been chasing a intermittent left brake light problem since Power Tour last year. I've basically replaced/chased the wiring into the steering column. Even did a "jumper" wire to by pass a bad connection at the harness plug while on Tour. Today I finally bit the bullet and changed out the multifunction switch in the steering column. Not a particularly fun job, but not too crazy.

Did that work to solve the issue?
So far, so good. But haven't been driving it (or anything) much lately :D

I've been chasing this for a while, as I talked about above. The issue was funny, seem to be a problem mostly while driving. Periodically I would notice the drivers light wouldn't blink when I set the alarm. Other than that, I would only know when someone told me it was out. Without fail, it would miraculous start work again when I stopped and started working on it.

I finally chased everything down. So, now at this point, all the hard components are new, or have been throughly checked. Fingers crossed.
