Well after the trans went out in my 95 z71 extended cab I decided to get me a work truck to put less wear and tear on my 95 since, especially since I’ve had it painted and done a ton of work to it to make it a nice truck.I own my own landscaping and lawncare business so I was in the market for a 2500 I wanted both of my trucks to be from the same generation and I came across a 2000 classic single cab 2wd 2500 with a vortec 454 it’s a base model but i also wanna do a little work to this truck to make it a little nicer even if it is a work truck and I’m used to the 3” keys in the z71 and I cannot stand the rake this work truck has I wanna atleast level it out so I guess my question is do I get a eBay coil spacer or the eBay 4” spindles I’m planning to put some bigger tires on the truck too as I may use it for a hunting truck that I don’t gotta worry about scratching so give me yalls honest opinions on what I should do....and yeah I already did the grill swap I’ll leave a pic of my 95 too.

I think I'd go with spindles over the spacers because it's a 2wd.
But before you buy them make extra sure they're for and fit the 2500 and not a 1500

Added: if you decide to replace the A frame bushings I'd go with Entergy Suspension components. Nuttin but the best.

Your truck reminds me of mine back when I got it. I considered lifting it but lift spindles are no longer available and it sits plenty high for pulling my car hauler and working on my house.

Last free at an old gas well location. After a few years of driving it and towing with it I no longer want a lift it would sit really bad with a trailer not to mention the front suspension would be to unloaded with a trailer and a lift.

Was bored and figured I’d update this thread old gal has changed a good bit in the past few months...ended up going with the 4.5” eBay spindles and brake lines.Installed a cheap spray in bedliner,5% tint, tool box and a set of PYOs on 285s got a new grill still in the box just waiting on headlights to get here.

Now that you took the rake out it sits butt end low with a loaded trailer--there's a reason why they come with a rake..........
Someone’s always got something negative to say...I was just sharing what I been doing to my truck lately man sorry if lifted is not your style but it’s also not your truck.[/QUOTE]
