I have read the stickys and searched the forum. I cannot find an answer regarding a suspension lift for my specific application.

I have a 89 c2500 ext cab long bed.

I can only find body lifts, which I do not want right now. Other than an ebay spindle kit, Is there a kit available or any that could be modified to work for my truck? Prefer a 2 to 4 inch lift but would not be against a 6 inch lift.

I'm guessing not then
It took me awhile to figure this out with my truck. But the trucks have pretty much the same suspension on the 2500s and 1500s. I ordered a 4" rough country 1500 kit for my 88 c2500. Now I'm wishing I would've waited a year because they have now have 6" kits but oh well. 1500 parts fit just fine under your truck

This is only true for 6 lug 2500s. 8 lug will match 3500s.

I replied to a guy on another thread with a similar issue. Maybe you can help him. From what I understand 6 lug parts fit 15/2500 trucks and 8 lug parts fit 25/3500 trucks and are pretty interchangeable?

The only difference between the rough country 4" and the 6" is the "add-a-leafs' in the rear springs. Note the last step of the rough country lift is to adjust the keys until the truck sits level. you can purchase the add-a-leafs from amazon or otherwise (even a different brand) and adjust the keys to make it a 4" lift.

Dunkin was asking about a c truck which are 2wd, same as mine. But the 2wd 6in kits just come with 4in blocks instead of 2in and coil spacers. Other than that everything is the same as the 4in 2wd kit. The kit you're talking about is 4wd only.

This is as I understand it. I was just clarifying because the OP never stated whether he is 6 or 8 lug.
