I would imagine after a drive in the summer time with the A/C on, once you shut the engine off, convection heat might build up enough to get it somewhat hot.

Yea thats what im worried about. Here in houston it gets in 100° + on a daily basis in the summer. I guess ima have to talk to a wrap company and see what they think

If you're worried about the heat, I'd use engine paint. Won't be able to replicate chrome, but you can probably get close to your body color.

You could always remove the plastic shroud and clutch fan, and install a couple 12" electric fans with a nice aluminum shroud/mount assy.

yea that maybe the only option. Im pretty sure my Holly Sniper can control the fans. Are the electric fans as good as the clutch fan?

There are differing opinions, most say yes. You can buy a control system with T-Stat and relays.

I would say yes, due to the load reduction on the engine, and if you have a good quality dual fan setup they can cool as much as a clutch fan. Now some people say they dont, and some say they pull more air, but being a gas engine, and from what I'm understanding is that you dont work this truck too terribly hard, I would say your secondary fan wont even kick on too often. But that's my $0.02
