It seems gmt400 trucks run less spacing in the back to keep it flush against the fender.im almost pulling the gun on sum 17x8 torque thrust chrome.for the front and back i know 17x8 with 5 inch backspace works great but if i wanted a lil more lip for the back would 17x8 with 4.5 inch backspace still tuck on 4/6 drop? Just to clarify 17x8 with 5 inch in the front and 17x8 with 4.5 inch in the back.tire im going to run is 255/50r17

Ok guys a little help here. I have a 2000 Tahoe Limited that I am looking into wheels. It came from the factory with stock 16x7s and was lowered 2” from the factory. I found a set I like unfortunately the company doesn’t offer custom offsets. Here is what they have: Front 20x8.5”, 0 offset, 4.75” BS and the rear 20x10”, 0 offset, 5.5” BS. I would measure for myself but the Tahoe is not here with me as I am working on the road. Any help is appreciated.

Are the specs provided in post #1 the same for the 6-lug Z71 suspensions?

Also, I'm trying to tuck a steel 8" d-window style wheel on a 97 K1500 Z71. The wheel specs on most d-window wheels keep them from tucking - especially in the front. Is there a d-window wheel or something similar that has the correct offsets? I'm wishing now that I had 5 lugs instead.

ciao to everybody. need help.
on my c1500 Silverado sportside 1990, have 275/60R 15 tires(according to italian law i must use ONLY this size) with rims 15x8 -25 offset. i know that the right width rims for this tire souldbe 10 inc. i want replace but in italy we haven't rims 15x10 available to buy.
must order in US, need know exactly what offset can be use to avoid touching the rim in the suspension arm
.is there anyone that have rims 15x10? what offset do you have ? thanks

I love the big width look in the rear. Is there Any mods I will have to do to run a 7 inch lip on on the rear. I have heard of shorter rear end, reverse lip, 4link system with coilovers, and wheel well roll. Just wondering what's the widest wheel and lip I can accomplish with no mods. I have a 2/4 on my truck now and plan on running 22sor24s
