Also check the shock mount bolts. I had some KYBs where the upper mount/bushing was barely larger than the stock Bilsteins and it bounced on the bolt. You could see it hitting by pushing the bumper up and down.

The shock bolts?

The bolt through the top mount was secure. It was the shock moving up and down and hitting against the bolt. It was a KYB shock, I don’t have the issue with the Bilstein. That was on a 4x4 - not sure if you have a 2wd as those are mounted differently.

I have a 4wd but I’ll see if they’re tight

Alright, progress. You managed to answer one of my questions.
Idk what u mean does my truck dart but just on bumpy roads not potholes it sounds like metal in clunking and when. Ido hit potholes it feels like the whole front end hit it hard like fell from a higher distance

After getting a replacement bolt (no change), going to the next largest bolt is what I tried. I may have it backward (it’s been a while) but I think the stock bolts are metric, so I went with the SAE equivalent which is just a hair larger diameter. Or it was standard and I went with metric? The bolt head will tell you if it’s metric or not. You’ll want to match the comparable grade.

For me, it was too hard to get the larger bolt through the shock bushing and it was gouging up the bushing barrel. I was pissed and ditched the brand new shocks in favor of new stock brand Bilsteins. No more issues.

Your results may vary, but a different bolt may work for you.

Edit: I think this is the top bolt, it’s metric grade 10.9:
