Been working on the truck some. Got the flip kit installed and c notch welded in. Removed and sold the 350 and 700r4. Also decided to do the front suspension and brakes how everything is apart already. Ended up putting all new gaskets in the 4.8 with ls7 lifters and a stage 1 towing cam from summit with ls3 valve springs.

Man, one of those with a 4.8 like yours is on my bucket list. I've got a 4.8 with 300K on it so it should be ready for boost by now!

Where are you getting all the front end stuff from? I saw LMC has new control arms, mine are rough.

Rockauto is a good place to source front end components.

Clean it up some. New interior. Engine is almost done. New dist., intake gaskets and cleaned everything and painted. Going to do a 4/6 drop and some paint ,spray bed liner, paint the frame and be done. Still deciding if I want 20s, 17 sawblades or some wide 15s. If the truck doez be good for a while ill drop a new gm crate 350 with a mild cam and a fitech ero.

Well that escalated quickly from clean up the 350 to a cammed LS swap lol. I love it. Ill be following along!

Finally back on its wheels. did the brake upgrade to the police package. All the suspension and steering has been replaced. Have the engine harness completely routed and the truck harness is about 50% done. Finally got headers that fit but now I have to redo the tranny lines as they are hard on the headers.
