I always hated running boards of any kind. Pain in the ass to work under the truck and are ugly to me at least.

I think that the truck might be an after market kit. I have seen some here like this that were a special order kit. Awesome looking truck.

Those wheels look pretty rare, I can't say I've ever seen them before. I wouldn't let them go for cheap. Nice find!

Amazon sells these great 3m rubber wheels that remove old pin striping like a dream. Just slap it on your electric drill and get to work. Ditch the running boards and canopy and that will be an wicked clean truck.

Also I like that civic in the background. Those 4wd wagovans are killer.

After serious thought this sounds like the route I’m going! And thank you, that is my brother’s wagon. B20v turbo that is getting swapped again for a fully built CSS LS bottom end. It’s a fun ride [emoji41]

Thank you everyone for the reply’s and answers, much appreciated!

I have the first wave of goodies on the way for the truck - double din dash kit, 10.1 Android head unit, 4 Kicker speakers and sport side mirrors. I’ll post before and after pics of the head unit for those interested (should be a fun little weekend project). The next wave of parts will be the 4 inch cowl hood and wheels (still doing research on some 15x8 or 17x10 wheels - open to suggestions as well)
