I've never seen those big hard bags on dynas, only those little factory ones.
They are extremely straightforward, just make sure you tighten the bolts. lolGot word my Gabriel Ultra Shocks will be in by Friday at the latest. At first glance it all seems pretty simple; pull the bolts, remove old, install new, bam done!
But, if ya'll got any tips or suggestions, I'm all ears! er, eyes, er whatever.
I've never changed shocks before
^^^What he said only I prefer PB Blaster.Start "panther pissing" (rust penetrant ie: WD-40) the old shock bolts and hardware now.
I'd heard Bilsteins might be great quality but the ride is rough as hell lol. Just hearsay though
I bought brand new Bilsteins in 2016, only because I had the extra money to spend, at the tune of $300 for all four from eBay.
How do they ride? It rides like a 4x4 truck. It’s certainly a stiffer ride than the original Bilsteins I took off at 275k miles. My truck was an Oklahoma truck all it’s life and I still had a little bit of hell getting my old bolts loose with the PB Blaster.
One cautionary note... be aware of the wind when you spray the PB blaster, that bs burns your eyes. It was completely unintentional, but it’s something that you don’t forget.
