That sounds like a sweet rig, I prefer manual myself. I’m about 45 minutes northwest of Grand Rapids.

Thanks! It's been a great truck so far. Haven't seen another like it and I dig the two tone paint scheme. Everything is easy to service too. I dig the 4x4 in it too. The fatness within me likes not having to get out and lock the hubs haha. Just wish it didn't mean such a dinky oil filter in place of the ole PF1218

Ever hear of Eric The Car Guy? He's in the process of modifying a '90 GMT 400, here's a link to his first video regarding lowering the back of the truck. Might help you with yours.

Yeah I liked my Jeep for the ease of engaging the 4x4 but it’s not the most comfortable ride being lifted and smaller inside. My truck is like a Cadillac and has the seats and center console that my 99 Suburban had. Thanks for the link!

Does anyone happen to know anything about Cragar wheels? I’m curious to find out the width, offset and backspace on these wheels so I can replace them with some black D-windows or similar wheels. I’m looking at a 3/5 drop, I think that will work with the square setup, as the right one for me. 4/6 looks good but I’m not sure if It will work with the 275/60 15 tires like I was saying.

275/60's @ 4/6.
Rolled fr. fender lips.
Clearanced LCAs.
Driven 8 years on that combo.
Only place the tires would rub is at the rear of the fender well/bottom of the firewall. ...and that happened only when the suspension really compressed. Sounds worse than it really is. No tire damage. Just takes the paint/undercoating off. A 5 minute fix with the spray bomb of HotRod Black behind the seat.

I’ve been looking at Basset and Aero 15x10 wheels but can’t figure out if a 3, 4 or 5 inch backspacing would work since I can’t find an in between or other steel wheel brands. I know Ardent fab said he is running a 5/7 on a 295/60 on 15x10 -44mm offset wheels so I’m wondering if that’s a 3.25 backspace maybe? I want the wheels wider like this truck and I plan on getting sway bars. Do you think I could run this kind of setup on a 4/6 drop?

This white truck has wider tires in the back. If you’re looking to do a square setup, those rear tires won’t fit up front with a 4/6.

Yeah after researching more I’m thinking a 15x8 with 4” backspacing is what I’m going with. I am pretty sure my Cragars are 15x8 4.25” backspacing. I’m going to take one off and confirm that but I have brand new 275/60 15 Cooper Cobras I had put on yesterday. I think it’s the right fitment, unless I need a larger backspace?

Lost a center cap earlier but the tires and the front valance look good I think. The Cragars are nice but it needs black steelies and a lowering kit for sure.

My vote (if you're taking them) is to keep the Cragars, they compliment the rest of the chrome on the truck. If goin the steelie route, I'd suggest the factory wheels painted black with the matching center caps & trim rings. That would also be a nice look IMO.

Other opinions are always good. I was actually thinking about these in black which is what you’re saying I think? I like the look but I’ll have to save or find some other ones in good shape I can paint.
