Mangonesailor is right; with them working on the interstate rebuild more and more people are moving out to Salisbury and Lexington areas.
They keep asking on FB groups where the local dog parks are and where to buy homemade beard products that are organic around us.

They're going to turn my area into Concord shortly. Bought before it did.

Should've moved to Mocksville... but no good job's in my niche except Ashleys. Heck, I even applied there and they said "No." We've hired 3 of their basic techs in my department in the past year and I'm one of their Lead techs. They've all told me I've dodged a bullet... and that Ashley's quality is ****.

I thought about moving down towards Albemarle out in the country, but almost everything I found out that way for sale was all too expensive for what the property condition was.

So for now I guess I'll stick to looking for a place out in the woods between here and Kannapolis.

Well, no big updates other than the growing list of **** to do to it.

Hooked up to my friend's 2nd Gen 2WD Ram 3500 last night for ***** and giggles.

I lost. Big time.

We pulled in a pasture so my tires filled up with mud as soon as we starting pulling, and the G80 not wanting to do it's job resulting in disappointment. Even in 4Hi I still only had 2WD.
Oh well, you lose some and you lose some more.

Wow I am awful at keeping this thread updated.

No big changes, I've been so bored of the truck I really need to do something to it so I don't get any crazy ideas about getting rid of it.
Kicked around about a couple ideas power wise without really opening the engine up for a full rebuild....

ZZ502 cam swap, Comp adjustable valvetrain with some new springs and pushrods, Scorpion 1.72 roller rockers, 0411 swap with tuning so it's mild mannered(ish) and a shift kit in the trans.

But I think the effort to tear it down for a cam swap wouldn't be worth it, the engine only has about 165K so I don't think it's too worn out. I don't know, just throwing ideas out there.
So I'll just go with the bolt ons for now, I'll probably swap to at least the 0411 and install a Transgo HD2 sometime soon, I just have to get ahold of Lextech again for a PCM kit and then see about a dyno tune.
