I'm jealous... I have a Chevy and a GMC GMT400, I need a Cadillac!

I feel so out of place but being based on a GMT-400 chassis Here's my truck... 256,000 miles 1999 5.7L. I've owned it over 10 years and it's the best car i've ever owned honestly.

Thanks guys, daily driver 250 miles a week. I've had my ups and downs for the last 10+ years of ownership but I always loved this chassis and engine combo. Gas mileage will never be great but super easy to work on and reliable.

Picked my truck up from the panel beaters yesterday. The guards (fenders) were blended to match the new paint, flares were re-fixed, grille inserts painted black. Much betterer but still a work in progress

Drove it to work yesterday to give it a little exercise. I noticed a little stumble in the motor sitting at stoplights. Guess I'll have to pull it in and give it a bit of a once over.

F*cking hate salt and brine. How are the rims holding up from the salt? Still debating what I should get for my 97.

They are filthy right now, but should clean up nice in the spring. I put cheap brake pads on it last summer, hated them, and then put better pads (and new rotors) on in the fall. They still leave a good amount of dust and I've been neglecting to clean the wheels on a regular basis, so they look like hell at the moment along with all the salt and BS.

Ah ok, yeah the winter months sure leave everything dirty until spring arrives.
