So many of you already know me from my two crew cabs, but for those don't. You'll probably learn from my two trucks that i'm a 88-94 interior nut, particularly with the red (garnet) color.

The 94 6.5 (Red) started life as a Cheyenne (Vinyl Benches/Rubber Floors) and I've spent the last few years completing the Silverado(ish) interior conversion.

The 93 6BT (White) has the original Silverado interior with PW/PL.

Throughout this process I've gathered some extra parts, some not even relevant to crew cabs. I'm typically always a buyer for red interior parts, just on the principle that these trucks are getting older, and these good condition interior parts are going to be what gets hard to find.

I also expect that i'll build another 400 in the future, and although i'm not 100% certain when or what cab/bed configuration that might be; I'm sure it'll be a 91-94 GMC, and have red interior.

I have all of these parts, a 93 garnet dash, and spare red center console. (not pictured)

Standard Bench (7.5/10 Condition)
Extended Cab Rear Seat (8.5/10 Condition)
Standard Door Panels (6.5/10 Condition)

I've also got some spare switches and emblems i'm stocking up on.

And FINALLY....

I just picked up these.

92-94 2 Door Blazer Door Panels & Window Switches.

The condition isn't immaculate, but they're in above average condition. Someone ran screws into the he drivers side armrest, but those aren't super difficult to find.

I saw them for sale, and just couldn't pass them up. Knowing my next project will for sure be a 2 door. In being so, it'll have the 3 vertical switches on the drivers door panel. I always felt like that was confusing and was a flaw in the 88-94 interiors. Well as far as the trucks went. IMO these blazer bezels/switches are what GM should've used from the factory in all 2 reg/extended cab trucks/blazers. They match the crew cab/suburbans and look/fit/function better.

This will also give me the opportunity to add power mirrors as well.

GM didn't care to match the switch bezels in all of the GMT400's, but i'm picky enough, i'll cover up that flaw.

I'll keep this up to date with any additional parts i get my hands on from this point forward.

I have some factory appearing ideas... heated mirrors and fog lamps using factory dash switches being a couple of them.

So... this afternoon i went junk-yarding today in search of a couple small things.

Came across a 93 GMC C1500 with Garnet High Back Buckets at a local junkyard.. really wasn't looking, but for the price.. they'll make a great spare/future project set. They're in great condition excluding one small hole on the drivers side lumbar which i should be able to fix. The actual seat portion is in great condition.

Outside of the hole these are arguably in better shape than the others i have in my crew cabs. At least better than the ones in my 94.

Very rarely do you see them with the armrests in this good of condition.

A little more of an update from this weekends collection.

Want to add this picture because i think it really gives an idea on how nice the seats are.

And not sure if you can see it.... but the hole on the drivers side. The only defect on these seats.

The seat collection is getting a bit out of hand... lol. Set of buckets, extended cab rear, and a bench seat

Also managed my way to find myself at another junkyard Saturday. This yard, about 35 min from my house. Picked up another dash bezel and some switches. But mainly. tore apart a suburban, pulled a dash to get this.

A 92-94 Burb Power mirror harness that'll i'll be adding with the blazer panels listed above. Both will end up in a 2 door pickup.

Took everything apart once i got home, and separated and re-wrapped the harness.

Then i marked and bagged it so i can store all these parts until i find a reg or extended cab to build using them.

And last but not least. Utilized some free time i had to extend the wiring from the blazer window switches. Soldered, heat shrunk, and soon to be wrapped so that they're ready to be spliced into a 2 door truck.

Made another trip to a local yard, wanted to find a couple small things. Came up empty, and since i drove nearly 40 minutes, i figured might as well leave with something. About 30-40 min (and 100 7mm screws) later, came home with this.

they threw this in with it.

Also picked up 2 more of these (now have 3 spares)

Left the whole thing assembled, this is cleaner than the other spare dash i had, and is probably the dash i'll use for a regular cab when i find one. If that truck happens to have a nice dash, this will turn into my "spare" and i'll sell my other spare dash.

This is another crack free dash i've had in my garage for some time. It's dirty, has a bunch of duct tape gunk, is incomplete, and needs cleaned, but it's a good solid spare.

The entire inventory of parts is getting out of hand. Have plenty of extras for pretty much everything. Probably won't be acquiring much else though. I have enough of everything to where i'm pretty much in good shape for spare parts if something breaks or goes bad. In the next year or so i'll have three trucks with this interior, spare parts just seem like a must.

A lot of these parts however are intended to be used in the regular cab i plan on finding down the road. If the truck i find has a nice interior, some of this may get sold, although as i mentioned, i'd like to keep a decent amount of this stored away for spares just in case.

Being realistic, the extended cab rear seat (as mint as it is) very well may end up getting sold. It's pretty unlikely that i'll build an extended cab truck. (having two crew cabs & eventually a reg cab as well) The bench i have MAY end up getting used in the regular cab, although it will to likely serve as a spare.

I'd like to see how a 95+ fold down bench looks in an 88-94. I really like the idea of a fold down console particularly in a regular cab. Still able to haul 3 passengers if necessary, and having a console for all my junk. (when it's just me 95% of the time anyways)

Being in NJ, I do not feel like there are a lot of junkyards around here to pick. I have been watching e-bay and Facebook Marketplace in the off chance that I could find some high back garnet bucket seats. I have the low back buckets in my 350 sport truck and I would jump at the chance to swap them for the high back cousins. I'll keep looking - but good for you on the parts inventory you've stocked up, well done.

it's come to the point, with the red high back buckets.. when i see them local i find a way to buy them. they're just that hard to find anymore. Ebay is always high on price but sometimes it's okay depending on what you need.. I'd say just keep looking. I've found them more on FB marketplace than i have at yards. Just seems like they're never reasonably close when i do.

However, i do know of another set locally, but the DS has a broken seat frame and they both are rip free, but DIRTY. For $100 though, possibly worth it. (Near Joliet IL about 2 hrs from me)

This was just a very very very small town junk yard where i found these ones i found. Got lucky.

You have an addiction!

I know... it's bad. lol

two fully dressed crew cabs with this interior you'd think that would be satisfying enough. Nope, need a 2 door and some spare parts as well lol.
