I am sure somebody has done this even if its not common since anybody with these trucks are not commonIt's not a common swap, since it requires modifying the GMT-800 spindles.
I have done this swap to my 99 K3500.
Donor truck for spindles and hydro-boost was a 2003 2500
I used the master cylinder, hubs, rotors calipers and brackets from 2003 dually (larger)
from memory
modified tapered ball joint holes by reaming with tapered reamer
had to bore spindles and press steel rings in for dust seals on axles.
modified steering stops , turning radius was a lot larger
turned cv joint down to clear lower ball joint
made tie rod adaptors
if you have access to a lathe and mill then it is possible.
What did this gain for you ? larger brakes I assume.
Not sure I like the larger turning radius? Why did that happen........I have a K3500 crew cab long bed 168 WB...as it is.its huge turning radius.Dual piston calipers with a lot larger pads.
I have a slide in camper thst weighs 2000+ i travel in the hills quite a bit
I put 6 sets of brakes on it before upgrade, now the truck will actually stop instead of just alowing down
