Autocross doesn't do that to a car. Hell my truck gets more of a workout towing enclosed than my car would through the cones. Now the real question is did blue turd leave the tow bar on when he autocrossed?

You've never broken anything at autocross?

How? You'd have to hit a light pole or something to break at an autox. It's 60 seconds of abuse and you might get 6 runs with time to cool between. Not exactly what I'd call hard on a car.

That is good to hear. I bought a new WRX a year ago. Am thinking about **** some autocross with it, but am a bit scared. I use to have a pro ama roadracing license, and am convinced that I can wreck anything...

Dude you could autox a 1990 Ford Taurus and be fine. It's fun as hell, but really not all that hard on a car.

Yeah dude don’t worry about it. It’s not bad at all. The worst it does it put some wear on the tires. Iv never not been able to drive the car home, but I have the truck so why not tow my little junker.

Why me towing my property with my truck triggered some people I have no idea lol. I’ll live my life, you live yours.

It's not that, it's more the misconception that this stuff is so hard on a vehicle. People are averse to doing because they think they need a race car to do it which makes it difficult to get friends out there doing it instead of just talking about it.

I have towed hogs in my 13' livestock trailer, my '02 Impala I just bought, and miscellaneous other things I don't have pictures of. Just yesterday I pulled my cousin's '93 F-250 home because the trans went out.

False. Autocross can be hard on things. I've blown up a diff twice in the span of two events, saw multiple cars break ball joints at the same event, various broken suspension arms, many, many hub failures, engine failures, etc, etc

As for what I've towed lately

98 C2500 with the 5.7 and 4L80E. Borrowed a trailer last year but the plan is to pick up an aluminum 16 footer to pull the Camaro to autocross and M3 to time trials. Only real plan for the truck at the moment is some tow mirrors. Probably going to rent a Ridgeline from work for the 800+ milers though.
