I need to redo my front seats. Options are to rebuild. Replace... Or? I like the way the feel as I am no small man. Is there an elternative that is similar or some place I can get these seats new? Avoiding down time as it's my work truck

Or??

If you like the 60/40 cloth bench setup, you can buy the upholstery to redo it from LMC truck. It comes in the correct colors and patterns. I believe the foam is moulded to the fabric as the original was too. I figured out the supplier that makes it for them, however they do not sell direct to the public. The prices LMC wants for it arent too bad though. I have a 60/40 setup in my 94. I really like it compared to buckets or a straight bench. The R&R of the seat upholstery on these is pretty easy. Hardest part is removal and reinstall of the seats to and from the truck. Its probably a half day job start to finish.

You can get nice 60/40's out of a ton of 90's-00 cars.
I was thinking of swapping in seats from a '95 or up truck, those fit right? I don't think they'd look too out of place in my '89... Question though, did they make the '95 and up seats in Silverado/SLE trim level as a bench seat or were they all 60/40 types aside from base or lower level trim?

There is a whole thread on alternative seats that has been a "sticky" thread so it'll be at the top of the regular posts. Crap ton of info in that thread. Would be well worth a look.
