Yeah buddy, I think you're SOL for the now "old-school" hardware.

However, like we've mentioned, they're coming out with a pro version for the new stuff. If it were me I'd hold out until you were a couple of weeks from getting back on land and then look to see if its available. The over-all cost would be more, but like we said, you don't need pro unless you have a wideband... and you don't need a wideband until you're messing with tuning Power Enrichment (You floor it and instead of running the engine at 14.7AFR it goes to whatever you want it at to make actual power).

Sounds good. Watched a clip of hp tuning school instructor explaining the new version and cost to upgrade when it debuts. Going to pull the trigger on it pretty soon. Quick question, how do you fix the fuel level indicator needle on these trucks? Mine has a case of the palsy. It will not stay still. Erratic twitch to it. My 95 z71 never did that. But it was tbi sp im guessing its fp related. Thanks guys!!

Also I just reread your entire post. I know you said you replaced your injectors with some from Ebay. Did you get an injector sheet with them telling you the lb and bar of the injectors.

Also l would watch your knock sensor voltages to see what they change to.

I had your exact issue recently. I installed new injectors, all upper gaskets, major tune-up, etc. Still running factory computer. Anyways I found at higher rpms my injectors were no supplying sufficient fuel and the knock sensors picked up a knock and the computer would retard timing and I could feel a miss, but never set a code.

I pulled the injectors and had them bench flowed and found four of my new injectors did not flow correctly.

I had the injectors rebuilt and reinstalled and the truck ran like a champ until I blew the motor being stupid...that is different matter

No I did not get a bench sheet with them. I bought them in good faith that they were not bosch knock offs. They you for the advise. I really do need to get back in there to change the fuel rail as well. A few of the plastic knobs that hold the retainers in place broke of the original and I didnt have a new one on hand so I zip tied them for the time being. Where did you get yours flow tested? I'm sure there was some ambiguity in a couple of my replies, but thanks for reading. I was sauced during a couple rants. thanks again all of ya'll

I have a place here in Houston called M&D. They build injection pumps and injectors for diesels but where able to do the injectors. Your injectors are probably Bosch, but they may not have been built at correct bar and pressure and/or a matched set.

5 oh motorsports sales the bosch blk knight injectors as well. They claim that they are flow matched at the factory. Pricing to get injectors bench tested is pretty steep. Do you think its necessary to go ahead and do?
