cluster needles

Ok, so I know the clear looks good with blue LEDs in the cluster but has anyone done white or silver for a little better daytime look than just clear? I would think both those colors would still look good with the blue.

I'm trying to decide what route to go on my Tahoe. I just ordered a new fuel guage stepper motor so while I have it apart I figured I'd do the LEDs and needles.

Did you ever swap the stepper motor out?

Is it as simple as removing the needle and unscrewing the old motor?

On the 95 plus it’s pretty simple. Couple torx screws.
