I have a 98 ext cab. Behind the back seat below the panel, I am missing that trim piece. All the yards around me don’t seem to have it. Does anyone on here have that piece, maybe the grand parts wizard @Z71Hobbs has one or know where on is? :D

I sell a lot of parts on here and on the various forums and do my best to help folks out. I enjoy these trucks and really want to help folks out.

This member decided he didn’t want this part after I bought it, and then spent a week finding a box and getting it packed up to save on the shipping costs. All with constant communication. Now I’m stuck with a very large trim piece, a large box, and a boatload of packing supplies tied up.

Not cool to leave someone hanging after having them pick parts for your project. I don’t make a lot of money doing this, and losing money on a part because you changed your mind is not right and ultimately ruins other people’s chances of buying parts. Additionally, stuff like this sets my funds backwards.

I suppose I should have gotten a deposit, but I never know when I’m going to find a specific part, and don’t feel right holding peoples money in case I find it.

Man that sucks! Super unprofessional.

Guys, don't leave people hanging like this. Not cool. Hobbs is probably the most reliable seller I've ever dealt with. He doesn't deserve this headache. If he's agreed to help you with something, follow through with it. That goes for everyone else here who sells parts, too. Hate to see a long time upstanding member here get strung along like this. Stick to your word.

I had completely forgotten about mentioning I wanted a red cup holder, but I bought it anyway when you told me you got me one! That sucks, did he at least apologize?

Not really. He read my follow up message. I had shipping quotes ready (all three major us carriers).

Wow dude, that’s ****** up to put me on blast like that. I was going to pay for the part even though I didn’t need it anymore just for your troubles. But you go and put me on blast like that?!
I told you I am, well now WAS, going to buy Those switches from you.
But since I didn’t respond at the speed you wanted. Because I have to work and can’t response right that second?! You go and do this to me?!
I do appreciate you finding that part for me but when you get an awesome deal like I got there’s no sense and spending $100 in shipping on a part I don’t even need no more.
