Hey guys. The exhaust on my truck has been rigged so many times now it's just time for a new system. I thought a few years back there was someone on here with a 'burb that bought a complete system that was made up of a bunch of pieces he welded together. Does anyone know of any place online that I can buy a complete system? Even if I have to clamp or weld it together, that's fine, but I've been coming up with nothing via Google.

I'm really looking for the section from manifold to muffler.

EDIT: I am fully aware that I can go to an exhaust shop but I can't find one in northwestern IL worth a damn. I've tried plenty of them.

I've had a Gibson kit on my red truck for probably over a decade at this point, I really like it and it's held up very well.

As far as the intermediate pipe that bolts to the manifolds, Magnaflow makes really nice ones with high flow cats. Using one of those on my red truck as well.

I'll look into both. Thank you.

You're welcome! I'd get the part numbers you need from the Gibson and Magnaflow websites respectively and then check distributors like Summit, Jegs, Amazon, etc for the best prices.

order a y pipe, bolt it on and get a section of pipe to fill the gap? Are you using cats? Going OEM? Duals? If you're willing to weld the sky is the limit.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I have a dual system from the factory, not a Y pipe, and I'd like to keep it that way.

No cats. I welded in a section in place of both of them.

Not sure what you mean by "going OEM."

Agreed, but with me throwing on headers, yanking out the cats, and going through a few different mufflers over the years, the exhaust is so frankensteined I'm just looking to throw a complete, catless system on. I've got turn-downs on the end of the muffler and I'll keep it that way. So I don't need the tail pipe section, although if I find something that comes with it, so be it.

After looking around online some more, it seems I'll have to cut out the cats and weld in a section anyways. Haven't found a full, catless system.

I just had a Summit kit installed, although it was a single 3", it was a nice kit. Both Summit and Jegs have cat back systems for our trucks.
