Barn door window replacement

Couldn't find anything on the site.

Does anyone have any instructions or experience on how to replace the barn door window glass? My trailer threw a rock and busted mine out today.

Well since no one had any info to share, I went to the junkyard to do some testing. I found that it is very difficult, with 15 minutes of digging without much headway. There's little guarantee I'll be able to get the window out in one piece, let alone in to replace the broken one.

I'll either find a vehicle with the same color as mine and switch doors, it pay someone to fix it.

it is held in with urethane. you need something like this,

That looks like a giant pita. I have a local company quoting me $175 for a used window, installed. Looks like it will be money well spent.[emoji38]
