Well, finally had a chance to get the brake lines buttoned up and the new cylinder and booster on. Those tight bends were a pain in the d$ck.

Wanted to get more done over vacation but as always, time slips away. I did get the interior plastic pieces out and sprayed the dash. I have to get the dash cover for it. I'm not spending $400 on a new dash. I might try and fab my own up. But these pics will bring some people back. I straight rednecked the sh&t out of the paint job. put 3 coats of clear on it. hopefully i'll get to finish the other interior pieces this coming weekend.

Morning All,

I decided to retire for a couple months and work on the truck. Weather hasn't been cooperating but I did get a little bit done. I was able to track down the wires I needed and get them pinned and the connectors on. And a little teaser of what's to come. As soon as I get a day with no rain so I can paint the rest of the dash pieces I'll be able to finish the dash and start driving this thing.

Well finally got it together and some of the interior color changed. Let me know what you think. FYI the brown wire on the side of the alternator must be hooked to key hot to trigger charging. I did not know this and bought a new alternator.

Forgot. To fix the stripped out problem we all face i ordered a nut rivet kit. But the plastic was so brittle it cracked. So i used m5 nuts and plasti welded them in. Found the weld at ace. Then for my temp gauge, they used a k style probe. I got a 1/2 to 1/8 adapter.

Any updates? I'd like to see the seat install. Also, where'd you get the disk brake kit for the rear?

I'm putting a new clutch/flywheel in. Ordered the wrong flywheel (153tooth, it's a 168tooth). It'll be here tomorrow . Once I get drive train together I'll start on the seats. I have most of the wires figured out on the seats, I can't get heater, cooler, or massager to work yet. Cadillac did a wonderful job hiding wire diagrams too. Thinking about emailing them to see if they'll help me out.

Disc brakes are from ssbc. I want to say $700 for the kit. Super simple to do. Only complaint is the discs were not zinc coated and I didn't realize it. So a bit rusty now. Had I known I would've coated them.
