Was at home depot tonight picking up some xc3.0 batteries for my M12 ratchets and saw this monster!!!

Its labeled as the HD12.0 for M18 tools. $199 and it weighed almost 10lbs. I swear, we'll be using Milwaukee car batteries for our tools soon.

Yall are out here buying all these fancy tools, and I'm just waiting on a sale at Harbor Freight to get me some cheap tools. I love my dirt cheap sets I don't have to worry about losing haha. Tools seem to wander away around my place with a little brother who's always curious about working on things.

I have my share of HF goodies as well ! I will go ahead and apologize if I step on toes with this next comment, but I cringe when I see what people are wanting for used snap on tools, much less price of new snap on stuff... Sorry guys just don't see it ! My tools sleep just as good in my Husky tool box for 600.00 as they would in a 5 grand snap on box.

I used to be the same way; but after going through 4 ratchets and stripping out countless sockets I decided to treat myself.
Plus, the school I'm looking at going to for Automotive and mechanical training requires it's students to supply their own tools, so I figure I'll stock up on Craftsman, NAPA/Carlyle, and Milwaukee tools to keep the Snap-On man at bay.

Trust me, I fully understand why people who do this for school and in their career need better than HF parts. But since tools don't put food on the table for me, I just use some basic cheapo parts, get a few years use out of them (if they don't go missing) and replace them or donate them when they get worn out lol

Quit yer bitchin. Lol!

At least you have the Summit Racing store nearby.

The wife and I are actually heading to Arlington this weekend on a road trip. You bet your bottom dollar, I'm stopping at Summit!

Honestly, the Summit store is heaven for me. It's a good 45 minute drive from my place but I enjoy the trips out there. It's like a candy shop for gearheads.
