I started parting out a 64 Chevy truck around 96 or so. I spld the grill, hood, passenger door, seat and the shifter for the Saginaw side shift 4 speed. Mu car wouldn't start and I needed to get into town in a hurry to get to parts store in time. I threw a 5 gallon bucket on the floor and 2 pairs of vise grips on the tranny. Driving it totally sucked! Step on the clutch try not to fall off of the bucket sitting on the uneven floor while reaching so far down to the vise grips that I couldn't see the road, move both vise grips and twice while getting back into a "sitting" position the bucket spit out from under me.
