I use Heim joints for my SAS link set up.. they’re noisy...
But even for my steering
I used tie rods
In my opinion unless you can properly run them double shear, it’s something I would avoid as well.
No sense in losing a heim bouncing down the freeway at 70MPH
But hardened bolts and frequent inspections should prove beneficial.
In the end it’s you rig enjoy it how you want!
