Wire harness under dash help

Hello! New to the forum and I got a question about these wires danglin under my dash. I bought the truck today without a tranny installed and I've been looking at everything and I was hoping somebody could tell me what these were and if theyre suppose to be cut like that. I followed the harness and it looked like it went over the gas tank possibly to where the trailer harness goes but i just dont know. All help appreciated thank you.

Yea, that is what it looks like. You can see mine in this pic., just under the steering column. It is OE, or maybe dealer installed IDK, but my truck has the tow package.

NP on the HJ. It is a seat consloe. I think I bought it at walmart, a long time a go. I don't remember If mine had a lid on it, but if it did, I just removed it. Here is one that is close to mine, but you would need to remove the arm rest lid.
