Where to find headlight and HVAC dash knobs? 1999 Suburban

For whatever reason, the headlight dash knob on my Suburban is melting. It's as if someone sprayed DEET or something on it.


The HVAC knobs are all fine, and they are the exact same knob.

Looking for knobs on a 1999 or earlier, by the way, definitely OBS

Anyhow, I can't find a replacement. Who sells one that fits? All that I see on rockauto is the Dorman kit, and they don't quite look the same. Maybe the do fit, I don't mind a minor mismatch, but I'm not going to mail-order them unless someone can verify that they fit and work.

FWIW folks, boneyard will yeild you the same gummy/sticky stuff on your light switch.

Just pick all the soft plastic crap off it. There's a white shell underneath it. Looks strange but isn't nasty like the soft melty rubber crap that was on it.

LMC carries them , at least for my 97 Tahoe. they were about $9 for three..
