Yea, i wish i woulda knew that trick before i bought my truck. I knew the paint was fresh but i had no clue it was full of bondo.

Yea, i wish i woulda knew that trick before i bought my truck. I knew the paint was fresh but i had no clue it was full of bondo.

A simple way of knowing if it has too much Bondo, get a fridge magnet, wrap it in a thin paper towel so it doesn't scratch the paint, and place it on certain spots in each body panel. If it sticks, its good. If it doesn't stick, it represents that "Bondo-man was here"

I don't care about a skim coat to level out a weld but it's almost 1/4" thick in some spots. Although it does have metal behind it.
