What bushing is missing here

Tailgate rattles. Changed hinges. Am I missing a rubber bushing

Could be the lower part that the tailgate swivels on...either the tailgate side or the bed side.

Could also be that your catches on the bed are worn.

Make sure you have the two “rubber bands” like you have shown on the latch assembly on both sides.

Btw...I have a set of metal tailgate straps for sale if you want to swap those out-much stronger than the cables.

I have on rubber band a u shaped piece of rubber. I stuck some foam in there and it’s nice and tight Thks
