ULTIMATE TBI mods stage 1

Heres current progress pix. Combined thickness of both pieces vacuum laminated together with aircraft composite epoxy is 7/8" i have a friend with a scroll saw he agreed let me use after i use a drill press to drill and bore it out.

Also went to walmart, and looked for a stainless or aluminum salad bowl i can mod. Nothing there, will be buying the jegs one.

Found a 1/4" pod riser on ebay $13.99 shipped. Will order it in a few days.

you could but 454 tb isnt necesary. i wasnt using it at 370hp to the rear. sure you can if you have one, i probably will relatively soon when i can find a way to adapt the iacs nicely.

good job, i just get lazy on all mine now i cut everything off the base and taper bore the bores huge nowadays.

I was thinking about some of these mods and how people go out and buy pod spacers. I'd rather take a trip to a junk yard and just collect a bunch of OEM pod spacers and just use more than 1 and that way you can adjust to your liking.

they didnt have oem spacers unless your talking about the 454 carb to tbi adapter spacers.

Oem pod spacer? Im pretty sure it was just gaskets that were oem for the pods
