Still experimenting with the headlight switch. But I think I have it nailed down.

But I made a big purchase for it today. Brand new shiny wheels. I'd love to body swap it and all but I just don't have the space. I think I'm just gonna lift it, throw wheels and tires on and run it as is until I have the space to do a restoration on it. [IMG]

Wheels have been around for a week or so now. Should have tires in a few weeks. Trying to scrounge up some cash. I'd rather not put them on a card since I won't be installing them until the weather improves. Still cold. Roads still have a fair bit of winter melting agent embedded in them. [IMG]

Tires will be nitto dune grapplers in the 285/70/17 flavor. [IMG]

Haven't done much to it recently. It's been my daily as the intake gasket leak on the Buick I found during the pan swap is putting coolant in the oil. Once I get it back on the road I'm gonna be swapping some body panels. No cab or bed just yet. But it will happen in time. The stuff is gonna be in primer for the summer unless I can get them in and painted. I also found a brand new tailgate.

Bedlining the inside of the new gate. Gonna try the rattle can duplicolor color match on the other side. I've done small parts and they matched great. Large panels will take some more time but I think I can get it right. If not its not a huge deal. I'm wrapping the outside anyways.

This is the stuff I'm using. Not bad at all. Loved it on my current gate. [IMG][IMG]

Well the paint and wrap is complete. Not at all the perfection I usually do. But I've never painted or wrapped anything. So this was a learning experience. It's not the worst but it's definitely not how I want it. Oh well. The rest of the truck is just as bad visually so I suppose this isn't horrible.

Also went to the junk yard today. Scored a loaded diesel bumper. Polished it up really nice. I'll get it installed this week I think. Tailgate will go on one of these nights after work.

I'm ready to do my ABS delete. Got a drum brake rear prop valve and a front brake line T fitting. Just need to get the stuff all on and bleed the system. Looking forward to having decent brakes for the first time in the 7 years I've had it. [IMG][IMG]
