Yes. GMT400 k1500 and k2500 keys are identical.

lift keys dont do anything ,waste of time

Like Tyler said, lift keys are pointless on these. Only reason for lift keys is if you run out of adjustment, but the factory keys on these will crank all the way to the stops, which is further than you should ever crank them.

OK I had a buddy with a set he would give me and I was gonna have it apart anyway to put the new bars in was just wondering if their was any benefit to them just using them as regular key not cranking them all the way up

OK im gonna put 2500 bars in my truck and I'll have all three sets of keys at my my disposal witch set would be the best to use the stock 1500 the 2500 or the lift keys

Either the stock 1500 or 2500 keys. They're the same.

Lift keys are of no benefit, the ONLY thing they will do is limit the amount of adjustment you have.
