the silver was the original color, and the ugly ass aqua was the color someone repainted it at one time

picked up an nv3500 from the junkyard for an auto (700r4) to manual trans swap

picked up some tubular upper control arms and 3" lift spindles from the junk yard

picked up some wheels off of craigslist... three 17x8's and a 17x9. i ordered one more 17x8 from jegs, and fixed the 17x8 with the bent lip

picked up some used LT265/70r17"s off of craigslist

got some free paint from a friend... might change the color of the truck

cleaned up the spindles and control arms... only to find out i couldn't use the lift spindle. so i ordered some 4" lift spindles from rough country

sanded and repainted the bent lip rim to make it look better

back lifted back up to stock height, but with larger than stock tire

I like it! That engine color was something I was considering on my dad's truck. Is that a candy? it is tough to tell on my computer.

Have you driven it since you painted it with that? How has it held up? That looks great, and maybe something to note for when I finally rebuild my pile.

it is holding up great. has been on their for over a year.. although a bit dirty at the moment. lol.

ALSO!!! i forgot to say that i clear coated over the red afterwords as well. which helps with it being more durable.
