Has anyone seen anything like this before? Its on my 2000 Crew short bed 4x4. Looks very factory and not added. but whats also weird is the tcase is a 243 thats behind a 4l80e. Ive never seen that before either. RPO codes in the glovebox shows its supposed to have a 263 tcase but the 243 looks like it was originally there. I dont think a 263 would work with this weird tailshaft support bracket.

New to me. Looks like it was made from a carrier bearing.

You mean like this? 1999 CCSB from the factory with a 4l80E with the 243 tcase. This carrier is on every 4x4 gmt400 Crewcab Ive ever crawled under. Also I dont think the NP263 was used until late 2001 so Im not sure how your RPOs would show it. Are you sure ran them for the right year?

I had one on my 2000 CCSB, I deleted it when I replaced the trans, the rubber was worn out and wearing through the t case tail.

Its new to me. Ive never been under a CCSB 4x4 truck until now. I thought it looked too nice to be a redneck rig of some sort. Thats why I asked about it.
RPO code is NP1 which should be 263 right?

No it wouldnt be the 263, as it wasnt offered on these trucks. The NP1 RPO code is for Transfer Case (Electric) Full Range. Or Transfer Case Electric-2 speed. Which in both cases would be the NP243. I believe the CC were only offered with the manual TC(241) or the 2hi,4hi-lo electric shift(243) but not the auto 4x4 function

I had one on my '95 K1500. Got rid of it when I lifted the truck.
