I don't want to remove my banner, so I was thinking about painting the background black., to kind of match the strips on the hood, like the elcaminos had, kind of. What do yall think.

Really doesn't look too bad man, seems to fit really well with the white and black stripes you got going on. It's different. I'd say go for it! :D

What if you removed it and painted a black band across the gate and put an upper and lower chrome moulding with a SS emblem. You can buy chrome moulding with adhesive backing.

What you have pictured is a that looks different but what did he do kind of look. Sometimes suttle is interesting too.

Been wanting to do something with mine since it's so faded, but now the rest of the faded paint on the truck matches, so if I did something like this, I'd have to repaint the whole truck....lmao
