Hello guys pretty new to this site although I’ve used it many times for info. My question is this. I recently went through and fixed some bare wires on the 4wd harnes of my 93 Silverado. While fixing I noticed a wire from the selector plug spliced into another weather plug that goes up behind the engine. I left the plug behind the engine just above the bell
Housing disconnected. My question is what is it for ? Everything works like advertised still ? Before my 4wd light was always on u less I stepped on the brake. Now it stays offf like it’s supposed to. Here is a photo. I’m 99% it’s 37 four wheel drive lead.
