I did this one time before with a corvette I bought for peanuts! Guy said the motor was locked down. He wouldn't let me check it out for him. Said he was done with it! $400 later I owned it! Put an alternator on it, stuck it on CL for $4500! Sold it the next day for $3500! I wouldn't have given $1500! It was a ragged out POS! Wouldn't mind doing that all the time!
