WOULD THESE FORGED LCA’S FIT A 1996 4WD TAHOE...?The forged LCAs came on the '98 and '99 K2500 with the K designating 4wd. Aside from the obvious benefits, the not so obvious benefit is that the forged LCA allows a tighter turning radius. A '94 K2500 with stamped steel LCAs has a turning radius of 47.7'. A '99 K2500 Suburban has a turning radius of 43.4'.
I just harvested a pair of forged LCAs from a '99 K2500 to install on my son's '94 K2500 with 6.5 diesel power. I have a '99 K2500 with 6.5 diesel. The differences in steering radius is readily apparent.
