Man I was thinking about getting those when I got my tail lights and I completely forgot until I turned on the backup lights and realized. Got any pics of the reverse lights on?

now THOSE types of LED's dressed up as bulbs make a difference, especially in the back-up lights......i've seen these in person.

we've learned that they absolutely shouldn't be used in headlight applications for many different reasons, and this has been proven on this thread....and i indeed know this for a fact as i've done it myself.........but in the OEM tail housing it "seems" to make a tremendous difference.....perhaps the reflector is has no choice but to work well due to the space limitations, distance and whatnot.

both my tail light are pretty shot, they're quite dull. i'm thinking on polishing them up a bit and putting these kind LED's in them.....being the traditionalist i am i prefer the stock housing to the modern looking units your son has, though they sure do make for very bright "look at me" warning device.....

the jury is still out about the tail/brake lights but these are on their way for the reversing lamps. got them as a "used" part from Amazon for $12.....i do like Amazon.
