So I've always been of the belief that Spindles would be the way to go with a 2/4 drop..But the more I read, the more I'm led to believe that with Spindles & Wide fronts (18x8.5 Rims planned) it may interfere with the factory LCA...So would it be best to go with a Drop LCA? or stick with the Spindle and deal with clearance issues IF its an issue?

The issues with drop spindles and factory LCA's comes with trying to run most of the stock 15" wheels. The inside of the hoop, or sometimes the edge of the wheel, contacts the underside of the LCA. This is where a simple clearancing of part of the LCA comes into play.

With an 18" wheel (or even a 17") you will not have this problem.
